dumb lyrics frontend showing a clean, lightweight interface for reading Genius lyrics

What is dumb?

dumb is a private alternative front-end for Genius that makes reading lyrics pleasant and lightweight by removing the massive amounts of tracking scripts and clutter from the official site. It is written in Go and can be run via Docker or built from source. The application fetches lyrics from Genius servers and presents them in a clean, minimal interface. Public instances are available, but users can self-host their own instance for full privacy control. The default port is 5555 and can be customized via the PORT environment variable. A PROXY variable can be set to route requests through a proxy to bypass Cloudflare restrictions on certain IPs.
