What is LiveStreamDVR?

LiveStreamDVR is an automatic livestream recorder for Twitch that captures streams shortly after they go live using Twitch EventSub webhooks instead of polling. It stores recordings in TS format to prevent corruption, writes chapters and metadata to video files, logs viewer counts with graphs, and includes a video player with chat playback and a video cutter for easy exporting. The web UI is mobile-friendly with PWA support and sends notifications via browser, Telegram, Pushover, and Discord. It can export finished recordings to local files, SFTP, or YouTube, and supports automatic chat downloading for use with companion tools like twitch-vod-chat and TwitchDownloader. Self-hosting requires a public HTTPS endpoint (via reverse proxy like Nginx or Caddy) for Twitch webhooks, and can be deployed via Docker Compose or a manual Node.js/Python setup with FFmpeg, MediaInfo, and streamlink.
