What is HQBase?
This project gives teams a shared email workspace that lives entirely in their own Cloudflare account. It deploys as a Worker with D1 for searchable mail data and R2 for message storage, while Queues handle background jobs. You get shared mailboxes with granular permissions, multi-domain support, drafts, and an audit trail. An OAuth-protected MCP endpoint lets AI assistants read, compose, and send messages. A progressive web app works on desktop and mobile with self-hosted push notifications. A one-click deployment flow provisions all required Cloudflare resources. The codebase uses AGPL-3.0-only licensing and a community macOS client named Herald is available. Operating it requires a Workers Paid plan, an R2 subscription, and a domain on Cloudflare DNS.
