What is Filen WebDAV?

Filen WebDAV is a Node.js package that runs a WebDAV server backed by Filen's end-to-end encrypted cloud storage. It supports three modes: standalone for a single Filen account, proxy mode as a gateway for multiple users with their own credentials, and cluster mode for multi-threaded performance. The server preserves Filen's zero-knowledge encryption — all encryption happens client-side. It exposes a WebDAV interface on port 1900 by default with basic or digest authentication, and proxy mode accepts 2FA codes. Installation is via npm (requires Node.js 20+). No Docker image or separate database is needed; the package connects directly to Filen's API using the Filen SDK.
