What is Aurelio?
Aurelio is a personal wealth-management and financial-planning application you run on your own computer. It tracks your banks, brokers, cash positions, portfolio holdings with cost basis and dividends, fund look-through analysis by country and sector, recurring investment plans, real assets, debts, and cash-flow goals. An optional AI chat advisor answers questions from your own records, performs web searches, and proposes changes as confirmable cards; a panel of analyst and confidant roles debates your portfolio. You install it by cloning the repo and running start.sh (macOS, Linux) or start.ps1 (Windows), which requires Git, Node.js 22+, and uv. Data is stored in a local SQLite file. The AI feature requires an OpenRouter API key; the app works fully without it. The project is MIT-licensed and very new, with no tagged releases yet.
