Petio is a self-hosted companion application for Plex media servers that lets people request, review, and discover movies and TV shows. It provides a user-friendly interface for managing media requests, integrates with Sonarr and Radarr for automated downloading, and uses Plex for authentication. The app features a React frontend with a Node.js Express API backend and uses MongoDB for data storage. It can be deployed via Docker (with a provided docker-compose.yml) or as standalone binaries on Windows, Linux, and macOS. The project is MIT licensed and in active development (currently alpha/prototype stage).
