ghcr.io/journeydocker/plex-auto-languagesWhat is Plex-Auto-Languages?
Plex Auto Languages connects to a Plex server and automatically updates audio and subtitle language settings for TV show episodes based on user viewing history. It remembers language preferences per show and per user, so each household member gets their preferred tracks without affecting global settings. The tool runs as a Docker container or Python application, monitors Plex for playback, library scans, and optionally user activity, then applies language preferences accordingly. It supports scheduling, ignore rules for specific shows or libraries, and notifications via Apprise (Discord, Gotify, Telegram, etc.). Configuration is via YAML file or environment variables. The project is licensed under MIT and actively maintained.
