timoschlueter/nightscout-librelink-upWhat is nightscout-librelink-up?
nightscout-librelink-up is a self-hosted background service written in TypeScript that bridges Abbott's LibreLink Up cloud service with Nightscout, the open-source CGM data platform. It authenticates to LibreLink Up using a user's credentials, polls for new glucose readings at a configurable interval (default 5 minutes), and uploads them to Nightscout via its REST API using a SHA1-hashed access token. The tool supports FreeStyle Libre 2 and Libre 3 sensors, handles multiple patient connections, and can run in a single-shot mode for cron jobs or as a long-running scheduled task. It is distributed as a Docker image (timoschlueter/nightscout-librelink-up) and can be deployed to DigitalOcean, Heroku, Render, or run locally via npm. Configuration is entirely through environment variables, with no database or additional services required.
