What is ownhealthrecord?
OwnHealthRecord is a personal health record web application designed for self-hosting on a LAMP stack (PHP 7, MySQL/MariaDB). It enables individuals to maintain their own medical records, track doctor visits with treatment periods, manage medications with dosage and usage periods, and upload medical images. Database entries are encrypted using AES, and passwords are hashed and salted. The project is in alpha stage (v0.4-alpha) and not yet considered stable for production use. Installation requires uploading files to a web server, creating a MySQL database, importing the schema, and configuring database credentials in psl-config.php. The license permits free private/individual use but restricts commercial use without author approval.
