ghcr.io/shotheadman/mdczWhat is MDCz?
MDCz helps you manage local JAV video collections by automatically identifying movie codes from filenames and fetching detailed information from various online databases. It produces standard NFO files that work with popular media servers like Emby, Jellyfin, and Kodi, and can automatically rename and sort your files into a consistent folder structure. The software handles multi-part videos, streaming link files, and external subtitle files. You can run it as a desktop application on Windows, macOS (Apple Silicon), or Linux, or deploy the web interface on a NAS or server using Docker Compose. The web UI listens on port 3838 and stores its data in a local SQLite database, so no separate database server is needed. Development is active; the core scraping and organization features work, while some advanced options are still being polished.
