What is MediathekArr?

MediathekArr connects the ARD and ZDF Mediathek (German public broadcaster media libraries) to the *arr ecosystem. It acts as a fake Usenet indexer for Prowlarr/NZB Hydra and a fake SABnzbd downloader, fetching video and subtitle streams via HTTP from MediathekViewWeb. It supports TV shows in Sonarr with full matching, has limited movie support in Radarr, creates MKV files with subtitles, and includes a web-based installation wizard. The project is in beta (v1.0-beta.12) and runs via Docker Compose on port 5007. It uses external APIs from MediathekViewWeb, TheTVDB, and the author's UmlautAdaptarr for German title matching.
