What is heym?

Heym is a self-hosted runtime for building, orchestrating, and operating agentic AI systems. It offers a visual canvas where engineers compose agents and deterministic workflows, plus an AI assistant that generates workflows from natural language. Built-in capabilities include retrieval-augmented generation with Qdrant or PostgreSQL/pgvector, persistent agent memory via knowledge graphs, browser automation with Playwright, and integrations for Slack, Discord, GitHub, Jira, Notion, Google Workspace, and many other services. Workflows execute via REST, SSE, MCP, Portal chat, schedules, webhooks, and an agentic Kanban board. The platform provides execution history, live traces with token and cost tracking, analytics, alerts, evaluation suites, human review checkpoints, input guardrails, OIDC SSO (Keycloak, Okta, Entra ID, Auth0, Google), OpenTelemetry export, and multi-instance load distribution. Heym Core is free and source-available under MIT plus Commons Clause; Heym Work adds team features under a commercial license. Deployment options include Docker Compose, a single GHCR image, or local development with run.sh (requiring Bun, Python 3.11+, UV, Docker).
