What is getbased?
getbased is a local-first, open-source personal health intelligence application that runs entirely in the browser as a progressive web app. The software lets you import lab PDFs to review biomarkers with trends and Biology Scores. You can add raw DNA data with curated SNPs and manual body measurements. It syncs data from wearables including Oura, Withings, Polar, Ultrahuman, WHOOP, Google Health, Fitbit, and Apple Health. The app tracks sun exposure, UV, indoor light, and EMF assessments. You can log wellness history, nutrition, rest, activity, targets, and notes with separate profiles. Optional AI analysis lets you ask questions using selected health context with multiple providers including local models. Data stays in browser storage with optional passphrase encryption, end-to-end encrypted sync via Evolu, and password-protected encrypted sharing. The main application requires no rendering backend — it's a static distribution served from any static host. Optional self-hosted services include a compatibility proxy for wearable OAuth and an encrypted profile-share service, both deployed via Docker Compose. The project is licensed under AGPL-3.0-or-later.
