flowiseai/flowiseWhat is flowise-ai?
Flowise is an open-source, low-code platform for building agentic AI applications visually: users wire together LLMs, tools, vector stores and retrieval components on a drag-and-drop canvas, covering single-agent chatbots and RAG assistants up to multi-agent Agentflow orchestrations. Flows can be exposed through REST APIs, TypeScript and Python SDKs, or an embeddable chat widget, and the platform records execution traces and metrics for Prometheus or OpenTelemetry. It scales horizontally with a message queue and workers, supports Postgres as well as a local file database, and can keep artifacts in S3, Google Cloud or Azure blob storage. Self-hosting was straightforward via the flowise npm package (Node.js 20+) or a Docker image and compose file, with dozens of documented cloud deployment guides. The project is now discontinued: the vendor announced a sunset, froze the code, archived the GitHub repository in August 2026, marked the npm package and Docker images deprecated, and encourages teams to fork it under the Apache 2.0 licence.
