ChatVault stores WhatsApp conversation backups from directory imports, email (IMAP), and API sources. A Vue/Nuxt 3 frontend provides a WhatsApp-like interface to browse chats, search messages, view attachments, and explore image galleries with an optional privacy blur. The Spring Boot backend requires PostgreSQL and runs on port 8080. Deploy via Docker Compose, pre-built container images from GitHub Container Registry, or manually with npm and Gradle. The project releases stable versions under the MIT license.
