shukriadams/arewedownWhat is arewedown?
Are We Down? is a lightweight uptime monitoring tool designed for home and self-hosting users who run multiple services on a private network. It provides a web-based dashboard to monitor HTTP endpoints, TCP ports, Docker containers, Jenkins jobs, systemd services, disk usage, ZFS pools, and custom scripts written in bash, Node.js, or Python. Alerts can be sent via SMTP email or Slack. The application runs as a Node.js server with no external database dependencies, and can be deployed via Docker, pre-built binaries, or from source. It supports x86 and ARM architectures including Raspberry Pi, and the dashboard works well in kiosk mode. The project has no built-in authentication and should not be exposed to the public internet.
