What is Pelican Wings?
Pelican Wings is the node daemon for the Pelican game hosting panel. It executes each game server inside its own Docker container, exposing an HTTP API for lifecycle control, log retrieval, and backup creation. A built-in SFTP server lets users transfer files with their panel credentials. The daemon installs as a static binary on Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, CentOS) and runs under systemd, requiring Docker CE or rootful Podman. Configuration lives in a YAML file generated from the panel. The project is MIT-licensed and currently at release candidate v1.0.0-rc.1.
