What is piqueserver?

A Python 3.10+ server for the voxel FPS Ace of Spades 0.75, compatible with OpenSpades clients. Continues the PySnip codebase with modern improvements. Provides an SSH admin console, map rotation and generation, IRC management, JSON query API, and web status dashboard. Gameplay includes airstrikes, melee spade combat, multiple modes (deathmatch, CTF, Arena, Tug of War), rollback, spectator mode, dirt grenades, and button-activated platforms. Supports ban synchronization between servers. Deploy via pip, Docker, Docker Compose, or source on Linux and Windows. Configured through TOML files with extensive script and gamemode options.

FAQ

Where can I find more scripts?

Check the Piqueserver Extras Repository on GitHub or community forums like aloha.pk and BuildAndShoot.

What about 0.76 support?

0.76 will be supported in the future only; working with multiple versions is a pain.

Why should I use piqueserver instead of PySnip/PySpades?

Piqueserver offers multi-config installation, Docker support, bug fixes, improvements, better anti-hacking, and new scripts.

What if PySnip development returns?

They would merge piqueserver changes and development would continue there.
