What is supysonic?

Supysonic is a self-hosted music streaming server that implements the Subsonic API, letting you play your library through any compatible client. It handles audio transcoding on the fly, serves cover art, supports playlists and favorites, and can scrobble to Last.fm or ListenBrainz. A built-in jukebox mode plays music directly on the server hardware, and internet radio stations can be managed alongside your local files. The project uses SQLite, MySQL, or PostgreSQL for storage and runs behind a WSGI server such as Gunicorn. Installation is available via pip, Debian packages, or community Docker images.
