hillerliao/pyrsshubWhat is RSSHub Python?
A lightweight Python RSS feed generator that implements the RSSHub philosophy of bringing feeds to any content source. It scrapes and extracts from web pages (with JavaScript rendering via Playwright), CSV/TSV/PDF/EPUB/MOBI documents, Hugging Face datasets, and Anki flashcard decks. The Flask app includes built-in routes for Google News, Twitter/X, NHK, The Economist, and many Chinese platforms. Self-host via Docker, Docker Compose, Vercel, or Zeabur. Vercel lite mode disables Playwright and PDF parsing. Configuration uses environment variables for Anki Connect and Flask settings. No user authentication — feeds are public. No formal releases or license file in the repo.
