What is quik?
Quik.do is a lightweight video conferencing application built with Go and the Pion WebRTC stack. It lets users create instant meeting rooms without any registration, installation, or cost. The server runs as a single binary or Docker container, serving a browser-based UI that supports peer-to-peer video, chat, and screen sharing via WebRTC. It uses in-memory storage for rooms and streams, so no external database is required. The project is licensed under MIT and hasn't seen updates since December 2022.
