muerorg/muerWhat is muer?
Muer is an open-source music player you can host yourself. It streams audio from YouTube by using Invidious as a backend, giving you a polished interface for personal music libraries. You can run it either as a Docker container (muerorg/muer) or by cloning the Node.js/Remix codebase, installing dependencies, building, and starting the server. Configuration relies on environment variables for a Supabase database connection and a session secret. The code is licensed AGPL-3.0. A maintenance notice in the README states the project is no longer actively maintained because YouTube playback has become unreliable.
