What is hothost?

HotHost is a lightweight, open-source monitoring tool for tracking server health and HTTP endpoints. It runs as a self-hosted web server with agents installed on target machines via Docker, Docker Compose, or simple shell scripts. The web UI displays OS version, CPU model, RAM usage, disk usage, swap status, and top RAM-consuming processes over the last two days. It monitors HTTP/HTTPS endpoints for status codes, keyword presence, and basic auth, and checks SSL certificate expiration with configurable reminders. Built-in notification plugins support Email, Slack, and Telegram alerts when configurable thresholds (default 90%) are exceeded. The project is developed by devforth and licensed under MIT.
