sagiadinos/garlic-hubWhat is garlic-hub?
Garlic-Hub is a self-hosted digital signage content management system that lets you control screens, media, and playback schedules from one web dashboard. It builds playlists in the SMIL standard so they work with any compatible player — including the project's own garlic-player, IAdea hardware, Qbic devices, and iDS-Player. The media library organizes files in folders and accepts uploads from local disks, URLs, webcam captures, screen recordings, and stock libraries (Unsplash, Pixabay, Pexels) via API keys. A visual composer lets you arrange items, set durations, nest playlists, and define time- or event-based triggers such as touch, network signals, or calendar rules. Multi-zone layouts split a screen into overlapping regions, each running its own playlist. The system exposes a REST API and webhooks for automation, authenticates users with sessions (remember-me) and OAuth2 tokens, and ships translations for English, German, French, Spanish, Greek, and Russian. It runs in a Docker container (internal port 80, commonly mapped to 8090 on the host) and is licensed under AGPL-3.0.
