phasecorex/red-discordbotWhat is docker-red-discordbot?
This project packages the Red-DiscordBot Discord bot into a multi-architecture Docker container. It runs as a non-root user with configurable UID and GID, automatically updates to the newest PyPI release each time the container restarts, and stores data in a mounted volume. Several image tags are provided: a minimal core variant, an audio-enabled variant with Java and Lavalink, and extended variants that include system packages for popular third-party cogs. PyLav integration tags are also available. Configuration uses environment variables for the bot token, command prefix, timezone, storage backend (JSON or PostgreSQL), version pinning, and extra startup flags. The bot's RPC interface for external dashboards only functions when the container uses host networking. There is no web UI or mobile app; administration is done through Discord chat commands.
