What is daily-stars-explorer?

A self-hosted web app that lets you explore the entire history of any GitHub repository. It shows daily star counts, activity timelines for commits, pull requests, issues, forks, and contributors, plus mentions from Hacker News, Reddit, YouTube, and GitHub. You can compare two repositories side by side, export data as CSV or JSON, and use a dark theme. Runs in Docker with a GitHub personal access token for API calls. Data gets cached for a week. There's no user login system — it's a public exploration tool.
