astradraw/appWhat is astradraw?
AstraDraw builds on the Excalidraw whiteboard to deliver a self-hosted collaboration platform. It adds workspaces with teams and collections, role-based access control (Admin, Member, Viewer), real-time multi-user editing with presence and cursors, threaded comments with @mentions, and in-app notifications. Extra features include Talktrack for recording narrated board walkthroughs with camera picture-in-picture, a presentation mode that turns frames into slides with a laser pointer, custom pen presets such as highlighter and fountain pen, quick search across workspaces, and GIPHY-powered sticker search. Authentication supports local accounts plus OIDC providers like Authentik, Keycloak, and Dex. The stack runs in Docker Compose behind Traefik, using PostgreSQL for metadata and MinIO for blob storage. The project is in alpha, maintained by a solo developer with AI assistance.
