What is agreper?
Agreper is a minimal forum application designed for straightforward setup and administration. It runs on Linux with Python 3, uses SQLite as its embedded database, and serves via gunicorn behind a reverse proxy such as nginx. The software provides a traditional forum structure with forums, threads, and nested comments. It includes an admin panel for managing forums and users, moderation tools for banning or unbanning users and hiding content, a three-tier user role system (user, moderator, admin), CAPTCHA-protected registration that can be toggled on or off, and a frontend that works entirely without JavaScript. The project is licensed under AGPL-3.0 and is in early development (pre-1.0).
