What is ZenphotoCMS?
Zenphoto is a standalone content management system designed for media-focused websites such as portfolios for illustrators, artists, designers, photographers, filmmakers, and musicians. It handles images, video, and audio formats with features like file-system-based uploads, dynamic albums, scheduled publishing, watermarks, EXIF/IPTC metadata, and drag-and-drop sorting. The Zenpage plugin adds a blog with nested categories and custom pages for running entire websites. Multi-user management with groups and per-user rights allows restricting access to albums and pages. Multilingual support includes backend translations and subdomain-based language sites. A theme engine with four included themes and a plugin system enable customization. Installation is via FTP upload to a PHP-enabled web server with MySQL or MariaDB. The project is licensed under GPL v2 or later.
