What is wardrobe?

Wardrobe is a self-hosted clothing management web application built with Nuxt, Vue, and TypeScript. It lets users catalog their clothes with images, titles, descriptions, and labels, then combine them into outfits with automatic preview generation. Users can browse and filter their wardrobe by text search, labels, and categories. The app optionally integrates with OpenWeatherMap to provide outfit recommendations based on current weather conditions and season labels. It includes pre-configured label categories for type, season, year, color, and body part. The project has no built-in authentication and must be protected behind a reverse proxy, VPN, or third-party auth service. It runs via Docker Compose (recommended) or local Node.js installation, with an optional rembg service for background removal on clothing images.
