What is series-troxide?
Series Troxide is a native desktop application for tracking TV series. It lets users discover new and airing series, search for shows, track watch progress per season and episode, view statistics on time spent watching, and receive notifications for upcoming episodes. Data can be exported and imported, and there is a Trakt import feature. The UI supports light and dark themes and caches series information for faster loading. It is built with Rust and the Iced GUI framework, using TVmaze as its data source. Installation options include pre-built binaries for Linux, macOS, and Windows, Cargo install, a Docker image maintained by LinuxServer.io, and building from source. The application runs as a local GUI; there is no web interface or server component.
