What is prestige?
Prestige is a browser-based HTTP client for API testing and development. It lets you write requests in plain text with JavaScript templating, execute them with Ctrl+Enter, and view full redirect chains. Features include isolated cookie management, drag-and-drop file uploads, export to cURL, saving documents to GitHub Gists, and light/dark themes. The backend is written in Go and requires MongoDB for persistence. It can be self-hosted via the provided Dockerfile (exposing port 80) and docker-compose setup. The project is licensed under Apache-2.0 and last updated in November 2022. No formal releases have been published on GitHub.
