What is Frappe Lending?
Frappe Lending is a loan management system (LMS) for financial institutions, NBFCs, and lenders to handle the complete loan lifecycle. Built on ERPNext and the Frappe Framework, it provides loan product management, loan operations, collateral tracking, financial accounting, billing and taxation, risk and compliance monitoring, and co-lending capabilities. The software is fully open source under GPL-3.0 with an API-first design for customization and integration. It runs on Linux servers with MariaDB, Redis, Python, and Node.js dependencies, deployed via the Frappe Bench CLI tool. Organizations like Zerodha and Kinara Capital use it for high-volume lending operations.
