What is flowbaker?

Flowbaker is a no-code automation platform where users design workflows visually on a cloud dashboard. The self-hosted piece is an executor — a standalone Go binary that runs on your own servers and links to the cloud service to carry out assigned workflows. All compute and data stay on your infrastructure. The executor ships with over fifty ready-made integrations covering chat (Discord, Slack, Telegram, Teams), code hosting (GitHub, GitLab), email (Gmail), databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Snowflake), AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, Groq), and many others. You can install it by downloading a pre-built binary from GitHub releases or compiling from source with Go 1.25 or newer. On first run a setup wizard walks you through creating an executor identity, linking a workspace, and generating authentication keys. The product is in public alpha and uses a freemium model: the free tier allows 100 workflow runs per month, two million AI tokens, and 500 MB of storage; paid plans scale up to enterprise levels. Credentials are protected with strong encryption and a zero-knowledge design. Full execution history lets you trace every step of every run.

Should you self-host flowbaker?
