What is cloudpatron?

Cloud Patron is an open-source membership platform that enables creators to accept monthly subscriptions from patrons as a self-hosted alternative to Patreon. It provides customizable support levels, project goals, private and public post updates, patron email list export, social media links, and a customizable landing page. Credit card billing is handled through Stripe integration. The software runs as a single static Go binary or Docker container with automatic Let's Encrypt TLS on ports 80 and 443, requiring no separate database. Minimum recommended specs are a VPS with 512MB RAM and Ubuntu 16.04+. Bitcoin payments are listed as a TODO feature. The project is licensed under MIT and last updated in May 2023.
