What is araa-search?

Araa is a privacy-focused metasearch engine you can host on your own server. It fetches search results from Google while routing image searches through Qwant and autocomplete suggestions through DuckDuckGo, all without ads or user tracking. The project provides a full API for integration into third-party applications. It runs as a Flask application served by gunicorn behind nginx, with an installation guide for Ubuntu Server. The UI supports multiple themes (dark and light) and dozens of languages. The official instance runs at araa.extravi.dev, and the code is licensed under AGPL-3.0.
