luka1thb/tymeslotWhat is Tymeslot?
Tymeslot is an open-source meeting scheduling tool written in Elixir using Phoenix LiveView. It provides a shareable booking page where clients pick an open time slot. The system checks connected calendars — Google, Outlook, Exchange, or any CalDAV server — in real time to prevent double-bookings. It also generates video meeting links automatically on Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, MiroTalk, Jitsi, kMeet, or Nextcloud Talk, or lets you add a custom link. The booking page can be added to your own site in three ways: embedded directly, as a modal popup, or as a floating action button. When self-hosted, you get every feature at no cost: two-way calendar sync, video rooms, custom intake questions, Stripe Connect payments, Slack and Telegram alerts, webhooks for n8n, Zapier, and Make, eight interface languages, and two themes you can brand. Deploy with a single Docker container that includes PostgreSQL, or use Cloudron or Railway for one-click setup. The code is under GNU AGPLv3 and the project is actively maintained by the Tymeslot team.
Should you self-host Tymeslot?
Tymeslot scores 52/100 on selfhost.directory (how scoring works) and ranks #11 of 30 in Calendar & Contacts. It has 282 GitHub stars.
It shipped 11 stable releases in the past year. The latest, v1.33.0, came out on 28 October 2026. New versions land roughly every 1 days.
Setup is moderate: expect some configuration beyond a single command. An official Docker image is available. It is AGPL-3.0-licensed and written mostly in Elixir.
Its closest alternative on selfhost.directory is Cal.dyi (81/100, 49 482 stars). It scores higher overall, so compare the two before you pick. See Tymeslot vs Cal.dyi side by side.

FAQ
How is my data secured?
Tymeslot uses OAuth 2.0/OIDC sign-in, AES-256-GCM encryption at rest for credentials and tokens, rate limiting against brute-force attempts, and CSRF protection across all forms.
Does Tymeslot track my visitors?
Booking pages carry no advertising pixels or third-party analytics. Built-in analytics are cookie-less and store no IP addresses. On the managed cloud, Google reCAPTCHA loads only when a client starts the booking form; self-hosted instances run it only if configured.
Can Tymeslot notify my team or trigger automations?
Yes, on Pro and when self-hosting. Tymeslot sends notifications to Slack and Telegram and fires webhooks (meeting.created, meeting.requested, meeting.declined, meeting.request_expired, meeting.cancelled, meeting.rescheduled) that connect to n8n, Zapier, Make, or your own backend.
Can I take payments for bookings?
Yes, on Pro and when self-hosting. Tymeslot connects to your own Stripe account; guests pay before the booking is confirmed. Payments go straight to your Stripe account.
Which video tools does Tymeslot support?
Tymeslot can automatically create meeting rooms with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, MiroTalk, Jitsi Meet, kMeet, or Nextcloud Talk, or attach a custom video link. Guests choose when multiple options are offered.
Which calendars does Tymeslot sync with?
Tymeslot syncs with Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook/365, Microsoft Exchange servers, and any CalDAV server. Built-in presets make Apple iCloud, Nextcloud, Baikal, Radicale, Zimbra, and mailbox.org one-click to connect.
What are the system requirements for self-hosting?
Tymeslot needs about 500 MB of RAM at minimum, with 1 GB recommended, plus one CPU core. It runs comfortably on a small VPS.
Is Tymeslot open source?
Yes, Tymeslot Core is open source under the GNU AGPLv3. Every line is public on GitHub, so you can read, audit, modify, self-host, or fork it.
What is Tymeslot?
Tymeslot is an open-source meeting-scheduling platform where you share a booking page, clients pick a time, and the meeting lands on your calendar automatically. You can use the managed cloud or self-host it yourself.
