ghcr.io/trypostit/trypostWhat is trypost?
An open-source social media scheduling platform built for AI agents and teams. It connects to 13 major social networks through official APIs. Users can write posts manually in a composer with live previews, or let AI agents create and schedule content via the built-in MCP server (80+ tools) or REST API. The platform includes a visual calendar with drag-and-drop scheduling, approval workflows, workspaces for multi-brand management, a media library with Unsplash/Google Drive/Canva integrations, post analytics across all networks, webhooks, and repurposing of externally published content. It runs on PHP 8.4+ (Laravel) with PostgreSQL or MySQL, Redis for queues and caching, and Reverb for WebSockets. Self-hosting is supported via Docker Compose or bare-metal installation. The self-hosted version includes every feature with no paid tiers. Licensed under AGPL-3.0.

FAQ
Do you help with migrations from Buffer or Hootsuite?
Yes, help teams migrating from another scheduler to map existing posts, reconnect accounts, rebuild calendar, and verify first week of publishes side-by-side before cutting over.
Can I delete my account and all my data?
Yes, delete from dashboard at any time. Workspaces, scheduled posts, drafts, and analytics history are permanently removed and propagated through backups within 30 days.
Is TryPost GDPR-compliant?
Yes, built around GDPR requirements: lawful processing, data minimization, right to erasure, audit trails at contact level. EU customers can request a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
How does TryPost protect my account credentials?
Never stores social network passwords. All connections are OAuth-based with tokens encrypted at rest using AES-256. Access can be revoked from any network's settings at any time.
Which AI clients work with TryPost MCP?
Any MCP-compatible client including Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, ChatGPT, Gemini, and any tool built on the MCP standard.
What is the TryPost MCP server?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets AI clients call tools on your behalf. TryPost exposes scheduling, drafting, calendar reads, and analytics as MCP tools so AI agents can do real social media work without custom integration.
Can I connect multiple accounts on the same network?
Yes, both plans include unlimited social accounts so you can connect several Instagram, X, or LinkedIn accounts in the same workspace.
Which social networks does TryPost support?
Instagram (feed, reels, stories, carousels), Facebook (pages and groups), LinkedIn (profiles and pages), X/Twitter, TikTok (video and photo carousels), YouTube (Shorts and full uploads), Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Discord, and Google Business Profile.
Is there a free option?
No free plan. Both plans are paid with same features. Free tools at trypost.it/tools work without an account for trying basic functionality.
Who is TryPost for?
Creators, startups, and agencies who post across multiple networks. Solo creators use one workspace on Socials plan; agencies and multi-brand teams use Workspaces plan for separate workspaces per brand/client.
