What is Playerr?

Playerr is a self-hosted game library manager and personal video recorder (PVR) for video games, modeled after the Radarr and Sonarr workflow. It automatically scans your storage to identify games, fetches rich metadata including artwork and descriptions from IGDB and Steam APIs, and integrates with indexers like Prowlarr and Jackett for automated searching. It supports Usenet downloads via NZB files with SABnzbd and NZBGet, and torrent downloads via qBittorrent and Transmission. The modern web UI features a dark-themed responsive interface accessible on port 2727. Playerr runs as a single Docker container (amd64/arm64) or as native binaries on Windows, macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), and Linux. It uses SQLite for persistent storage with no external database required. The project is licensed under MIT and actively developed with regular releases.
