ghcr.io/sapientorius/nebulynk-backendWhat is Nebulynk?
Nebulynk is a self-hosted team communication platform that merges chat, persistent voice channels, and video meetings with AI transcription and summaries. It targets teams wanting modern collaboration without surrendering control over data or AI provider choices. The platform uses a bring-your-own-key model for AI features. Core features include channels and direct messages, replies, reactions, file sharing, search, reminders, and notifications. Voice channels provide persistent spaces for spontaneous conversations with mute, deafen, push-to-talk, and screen sharing. Meetings support instant and scheduled sessions, guest access via invitation links, video, screen sharing, and per-meeting AI artefacts. Authentication supports passwords, passkeys (WebAuthn), and optional TOTP two-factor authentication. Deployment uses a Docker-based stack with PostgreSQL, Redis, Garage for object storage, and LiveKit for real-time audio/video. Official deployment guides exist for Coolify, Dokploy, and Plesk. The source is available under the Business Source License 1.1 (BSL 1.1), which permits free production use for individuals and organizations below USD 5 million Commercial Scale, with every version becoming open source under Apache 2.0 after four years.
