What is Equibles?
This project runs a financial data server that AI assistants query through the Model Context Protocol. It gathers SEC filings, XBRL financial statements, institutional holdings from 13F reports, insider and congressional trades, short interest data, FRED economic indicators, CFTC futures positioning, CBOE volatility indexes, government contracts, FDA advisory meetings, and daily stock prices. The system runs via Docker Compose with a ParadeDB database, a web portal on port 8080, and an MCP server on port 8081. Optional Ollama embeddings add semantic search over filings. The core is free under AGPL-3.0; a cloud version adds earnings transcripts, live quotes, and options data. Requires a SEC contact email; FINRA and FRED API keys are optional.

FAQ
Is this financial advice?
No. Equibles and ALVIS provide data and research for informational purposes only and never place trades. Always do your own due diligence.
Do I need to create a password?
No. Signing in and signing up happen on the same page using a one-time email code, a passkey, or your Google account. If you're new, your account is created on the spot.
Where does the data come from?
Primary sources and regulators, parsed from original filings: SEC EDGAR, FINRA, Federal Reserve (FRED), CFTC and CBOE for US data, and regulators/exchanges like FCA, AMF, CNMV, HKEX and CNINFO for European, Chinese and Hong Kong listings.
Can I use the data in Excel or Google Sheets?
Yes, on every plan. A screen of the market comes back as a CSV that Excel's Power Query loads as a worksheet table and that Google Sheets reads with IMPORTDATA.
Which AI apps can I connect?
Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and other compatible AI apps. Step-by-step connection guides are available in the documentation.
What can ALVIS do?
ALVIS is an AI analyst that researches across SEC filings, 13F holdings, insider and congress trades, short data, fundamentals, prices and earnings calls, then answers in plain English with a citation for every figure.
