What is CoreShop?
CoreShop adds a full eCommerce layer to Pimcore, providing product catalog, shopping cart, checkout, customer accounts, multi-currency and multi-language support, plus B2B features such as company hierarchies and custom price rules. The 2026.x series introduces a new administration UI built with React and TypeScript on top of Pimcore Studio, where every bundle supplies its own Studio plugin through Module Federation. The stack runs on a self-managed Pimcore instance that needs PHP 8.4 or 8.5, MySQL or MariaDB, and OpenSearch or Elasticsearch for search. Asynchronous work like mail delivery and index updates is processed via Symfony Messenger, and payments are handled through Payum with a choice of provider plugins. Extra enterprise modules bring subscriptions, loyalty, ticketing, warehouse control and deposits. The code is distributed under the CoreShop Commercial License (CCL), a source-available but non-open-source license; the complete Suite requires a paid license once annual revenue passes €5M, while single bundles (except CoreBundle) are free. A live demo runs at demo2026.coreshop.dev and a Docker Compose starter project is published on GitHub.
