comixed/comixedWhat is comixed?
ComiXed is a self-hosted web application for managing digital comic book collections. It supports CBR, CBZ, and CB7 archive formats and can convert between them. The software organizes libraries into a defined directory structure, updates ComicInfo.xml metadata, and lets administrators import comics and scrape metadata from ComicVine. Users get individual accounts with reading lists and per-comic read-state tracking. Comics are served via OPDS so they can be read in any compatible reader app such as Chunky, YACReader, or Librera. A plugin system allows third-party extensions. The application runs as a Java JAR (port 7171) or via Docker on Linux, macOS, and Windows. It uses an embedded database stored in the user's home directory. The project is licensed under GPL-3.0.
