What is collabst?

Collabst is a self-hosted web application that lets multiple users edit Typst documents together in real time. It provides a CodeMirror-based editor with live preview, a project dashboard, commenting, and light/dark themes. The stack uses Yjs CRDTs for conflict-free synchronization, with a FastAPI backend, PostgreSQL for persistence, Redis for live state, and MinIO for asset storage. Authentication uses JWT with bcrypt; registration can be toggled. Deployment is via Docker Compose with configurable environment variables. The project is currently under maintenance and marked as not functional, with nightly builds available for testing.
