kudang/mirrorproxyWhat is MirrorProxy?
MirrorProxy is a self-hosted mirror acceleration platform that acts as a unified proxy for software sources developers rely on daily. It supports around 30 proxy adapters covering code hosts (GitHub), container registries (Docker Hub, GHCR, Quay, GCR, etc.), language ecosystems (npm, PyPI, Cargo, Go modules, Maven, NuGet, Composer, RubyGems, and many more), developer toolchains (Homebrew, WinGet, Rustup, NVM), and over 30 Linux/BSD operating system repositories. The server fetches and caches content on-demand with bounded disk caching, supports multiple upstreams per source with automatic failover and health checks, and provides a web administration console for managing users, teams, monthly quotas, IP/CIDR access rules, rate limiting, and passkey/WebAuthn authentication. It integrates OAuth/OIDC for single sign-on, exposes Prometheus metrics and optional OTLP tracing, and can automate HTTPS via ACME (HTTP-01/DNS-01) or run behind Caddy/Nginx/Traefik. Deployment options include Docker Compose, standalone Linux binaries (x86_64 and ARM64), and systemd service installation. A cross-platform CLI client (Linux, macOS, Windows) helps configure local package managers to use the proxy. The project is MIT-licensed and written in Rust.
