sleede/fab-managerWhat is fab-manager?
Fab-manager is a comprehensive web-based platform designed for Fab Labs and third places to simplify daily administrative tasks. It provides modules for calendar and resource reservations (machines, rooms, workshops), member management with personalized spaces, collaborative project documentation and publishing, billing and accounting with VAT compliance, and a store for selling materials. The software is open-source under AGPL-3.0 and can be self-hosted via Docker Compose on Linux servers, with a setup script that automates deployment. A managed cloud version is also offered starting at 45€/month. It integrates with Stripe for payments, supports OAuth2/OpenID Connect for single sign-on, and offers a REST API for custom integrations. The system requires PostgreSQL, Redis, and optionally Elasticsearch for statistics, with minimum 2 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
