What is Astral?
Astral helps developers organize their GitHub starred repositories. It connects to GitHub via OAuth, imports all starred repos, and provides a tagging system, rule-based filters, full-text search, inline README viewing, and personal notes for each repository. The application is built with Laravel (PHP) and Vue.js, requiring PHP 8.2+, MySQL, Node.js, and Yarn to run. Installation involves cloning the repository, installing Composer and NPM dependencies, running an artisan install command, and starting a development server. A hosted version is available at app.astralapp.com, and a 1-click Cloudron deployment is offered. The project is licensed under BSD-3-Clause and maintained by Syropia.
