## Description

WackoWiki is a lightweight wiki engine built for collaborative writing and knowledge management. It uses an easy-to-learn markup language and provides a WYTIWYG editor so contributors can see changes as they type. Each page has its own access control lists covering five permission types. The software includes full revision history with visual diffs, file attachments with automatic thumbnails, and a theming system. Email notifications keep users informed of changes. It runs on PHP 8.3 through 8.5 with Apache, Nginx, or Caddy and stores data in MariaDB, MySQL, or SQLite. Installation is done by downloading a zip archive from SourceForge, GitHub, or Codeberg and running the web-based setup wizard. The codebase is licensed under BSD-3-Clause and the maintainers offer commercial support options.
