## Description

TradeSight is a self-hosted Python tool for researching trading strategies and running paper trades through Alpaca. It tests strategy families on historical data, keeps a record of champion and challenger strategies with clear evidence labels, and matches local accounting against broker records. The app runs a local web dashboard on port 5001 with a Strategy Lab for reviewing optimizer results and promotion gates, a readiness screen listing 13 evidence requirements that cannot enable live trading, and safety controls that block new entries on stale data while allowing exits. Setup uses an installer script that builds an isolated Python 3.11+ environment on macOS or Linux. The code is MIT licensed, with a $49 packaged option from QC Autonomous that adds documentation and support. Live trading is completely disabled in the release.
