## Description

A ready-made Docker image that turns Nginx, with the nginx-rtmp-module compiled in, into a live video streaming server handling RTMP, HLS and DASH out of the box. FFmpeg is bundled so streams can be transcoded and delivered adaptively — HLS runs with five variants by default — while alternative Nginx configuration files let you run RTMP-only or skip transcoding entirely. Ingest works by pointing an encoder at the RTMP endpoint on port 1935 using any stream key you choose, and playback happens over HTTP on port 8080: HLS manifests, DASH manifests, a stats page listing current streams, and bundled browser players built on video.js and hls.js are all served from there. Deployment is a single docker run opening ports 1935 and 8080; you can mount your own nginx.conf or a directory of edited player files into the container, and Debian or Alpine base images are offered. It is MIT-licensed and meant for pushing your own live streams rather than as a general media library server. Note that the pinned components are old (Nginx 1.17.5, nginx-rtmp-module 1.2.1, FFmpeg 4.2.1) and the repository has not been updated since mid-2023.
